Austin Pagan Pride Day 2008

Music and Other Performers

Music and Entertainment

The following musicians plan to perform:

  • Jo Beth Henderson is Bellafeather. Bellafeather's music is "progressive folk art rock" with influences in jazz, folk rock, classical, and the avant-garde.
  • Two Feathers Ghostwood plays Native American flute and other instruments.
  • Slyther plays high-energy rock n' roll, with a heaping side of strong melodies. He was frontman for Call the Circle, which has disbanded.
  • Wyrdgrl is a rich tapestry of tales between myth and perception woven by singer-songwriter Dana Davis.
  • The two guitar players from Linton Mancilla play acoustic rock.
  • The Nematoads, a trippy, twangy, five-piece modern surf band from Austin, straddle the line between ´60s retro cool and tall-in-the-saddle Tejas twang.
  • Velvet Brick plays rock, classic rock, and metal.
  • Bright Shadow is a progressive alternative rock band. Thier basic message is to take care of each other and this planet we live on.

A drum circle will start sometime after 6pm.
