Austin Pagan Pride Day 2008

Mission and History

Who We Are

We are people from Austin, Texas, and the surounding areas who volunteer to organize a celebration of our bounty at the end of the summer. We come from a variety of traditions and belief systems.

Our Mission

The Austin Pagan Pride Project fosters pride in identity by hosting public Pagan rituals to honor the Autumn Equinox and holding charity drives. Pagans, Wiccans, Witches, Druids, Asatru, Mages and other members of earth-based, neoclassical, or magickal spiritual paths gather to support charity and educate the public about Pagan religions.

For the mission statement of the national organization with an explaination and what the symbols on the logo mean, see Who We Are on the national website

History

Please vist the The Pagan Pride Project national website for the history of the national project.
